Job Description

POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN WABASH VALLEY COLLEGE

MT. CARMEL, IL DESCRIPTION
The Information Systems Technician position is a full-time position responsible for providing technical support for all activities related to the installation, maintenance, and support of the campus's administrative and instructional computer systems, including the review and selection of hardware & software, end-user support, system maintenance, network support and periodic IECC Helpdesk coverage.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associates degree in Information Technology (or equivalent) preferred and two years' experience working with computer hardware & software. Excellent organizational and communication skills required.
WAGES:
$19.09 per hour. Benefits include, but are not limited: medical, dental, and life insurance; paid sick leave, vacation, and personal days; and participation in State Universities Retirement System.
