Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive IT Associate to join our technology team! In this role, you will be the frontline support for our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and user satisfaction. Your energetic approach will help troubleshoot technical issues swiftly, manage computer systems efficiently, and support a variety of hardware and software environments. Responsibilities Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring quick resolution and minimal downtime Troubleshoot software problems across operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux, utilizing tools like SCCM, GPO, and ServiceNow Manage computer hardware assets, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals, maintaining inventory accuracy Assist with computer network administration tasks such as configuring LAN/WAN connections, DNS settings, TCP/IP protocols, VPN access, firewalls, and Meraki devices Support IT infrastructure components like Windows Server environments and Active Directory for user account management and security policies Conduct analysis of system logs and network traffic to identify issues proactively and optimize performance Collaborate with team members using tools like Jira and BMC Remedy to track incidents and streamline support workflows Qualifications Proven experience in providing IT support with a focus on desktop support and help desk functions Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows (Windows Server), macOS, and Linux environments Familiarity with computer networking concepts such as
TCP/IP, DNS, LAN/WAN
architecture, VPNs, firewalls, and network administration tools like Meraki Hands-on experience with software troubleshooting across various platforms using tools like SCCM and GPO Excellent communication skills to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical users Ability to analyze system logs and diagnose hardware or software problems efficiently Knowledge of IT management tools such as ServiceNow or Jira for incident tracking and resolution Join us as an IT Associate to be at the forefront of technological excellence!
