Deployment Technician (Overnight)

Schedule:

Overnight | 8:00 PM - 5:00 AM (Sunday-Thursday). Travel in the local area and out of state is required.

About the Opportunity We are seeking temporary IT‑focused resources to support a large-scale installation and upgrade project for a well‑known enterprise customer based in the Altoona area. This project is expected to last 8-10 months and will likely transition into additional long‑term project work for strong performers. You will be part of a structured team responsible for installing and upgrading hardware such as touchscreens and hard drives, with accompanying software. Several days of paid training and detailed, step‑by‑step instructions will be provided to ensure success. While the scheduled shift is 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM , shifts may end earlier depending on completion of nightly objectives. Key Responsibilities Assist in the replacement and installation of upgraded hardware and software Follow documented procedures and runbooks precisely Execute installation steps as instructed Track time and assigned tasks accurately Communicate clearly with project leads and team members Ideal Background This role is a great fit for candidates with: IT, Cybersecurity, or general technology backgrounds A desire to gain hands‑on experience in a controlled production environment Preferred Qualifications Associate degree in Information Technology or 1-2 years of IT experience Experience installing a variety of hardware Experience installing software or running scripts (a plus, not required) Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures Additional Requirements Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work overnight hours consistently Valid driver's license Ability to pass a background check Why This Role?
