Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic individual to join our Facility Services team as a Refurb Technician that is responsible for demo, clean-up and reconstruction of sold apartments. This full-time position with a starting pay of $19.00 per hour. Ready to jump into a role that matters? Here's a snapshot of what you'll be doing each day as a
Refurb Technician:
Responsible for tasks required to refurbish an apartment for resale. These may include, demolition work, moving interior walls, installing cabinets, installing showers, etc. Minor electrical and plumbing work required. Assist the Director in ordering parts to remodel the apartments. Got what it takes to shine in this role? Here are a few of the qualifications we are looking for: High School diploma or equivalent. Ability to read, write, perform basic arithmetic and speak effectively. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions in English. Technical Schooling or experience with carpentry/building background and/or proven work history preferred.
