Computer Network Support - Level 1

Job Summary:

The Computer Network Support - Level 1 is responsible for providing first line technical support to end users, resolving common hardware, software, and connectivity issues while delivering excellent customer service to the employees. They may perform maintenance to ensure networks operate correctly with minimal interruption and provide technical support to end users. They will adhere to all Bandit safety, quality, inventory and production guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests via phone, email or ticketing system. Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, printer and network connectivity issues. Install, configure, and support Windows desktops/laptops and standard business applications. Reset passwords and assist with accounts and access issues. Document issues, resolutions, and procedures in the ticketing system. Escalate unresolved or complex issues to level 2 support personnel. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

High school diploma or GED. Basic knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and common desktop hardware. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to follow troubleshooting processes and work independently. Familiar with ticketing systems, active directory, and device management tools preferred, but not required. CompTIA A+ or similar entry level IT certifications preferred, but not required. Two (2) or more years of experience in IT related position

Frequently sit for extended periods of time Occasionally stand, walk, push, pull, stoop, pinch, grasp, and/or bend Requires employee to work both inside/outside in heat/cold, and/or wet/humid conditions.
