Paul, MN Onsite Contract Starts 7/15/2026 Ends 12/15/2026 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a Network Technician for an on-site, 5+ month contract position with a Public Sector Organization located in St. Paul, MN.

Pay Rate:

$35.00 - 47.00 per hour This position involves installing and replacing network infrastructure throughout the 7-county metro area. The Network Technician will support System Engineers in diagnosing and troubleshooting network connectivity issues, requiring work to be performed both indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities:

Install or replace physical network switches and ports in system infrastructure throughout the organization Support System Engineers in diagnosing and troubleshooting network connectivity issues Support andmunicate about workspace standard power systems and wireless connectivity issues with the network team Document work performed using pictures, notes, and d spreadsheets Ensure equipment installation is in the proper location Ensure basic installation steps are performed Communicate set-up issues and concerns with System Engineers and the network team Identify, transport, and deliver appropriate hardware equipment for the required job Safely load and secure hardware equipment in vehicles Discuss planned hardware transportation, installation, schedule, and connection with the Systems Engineer Assist the Systems Engineer in the layout of new infrastructure equipment Communicate planned workpletion or issues Provide knowledge transfer to other Network Team members as required

Requirements:

High school diploma/GED AND four or more years of relevant work experience; or an Associate or higher degree OR two-year college/technical school certification AND two or more years of relevant work experience Experience working with general low voltage power, multi-media connectivity, and SolarWinds Experience reading blues and floor plans Experience promoting an equitable, positive, and respectful work environment Must have reliable transportation for travel throughout the 7-county metro area Desired skills: Cisco certification Azure certification If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please !
