IT Associate

Job Summary R&S Machining, a Threadlock Precision Company, is a growing aerospace and defense manufacturer seeking a dependable and tech-savvy IT Associate to support daily business and shop floor operations. This role is responsible for maintaining hardware, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring employees have reliable access to the systems they need to stay productive. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their IT career who enjoys hands-on problem solving, working across departments, and gaining experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Provide day-to-day technical support for employees, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues Set up, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and shop floor devices Manage user accounts, passwords, and access across company systems Assist with maintaining and troubleshooting network connectivity (Wi-Fi, LAN, basic infrastructure) Support software systems used in operations (ERP, scheduling tools, Microsoft 365, etc.) Install updates, patches, and ensure systems are secure and up to date Track and maintain IT inventory including hardware and licenses Document issues, solutions, and standard procedures Coordinate with external IT vendors or service providers when needed Assist in improving internal processes and system efficiency Requirements 1-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or related role preferred Basic knowledge of computer hardware, Windows OS, and Microsoft 365 Familiarity with networking fundamentals (IP addresses, routers, connectivity) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical users Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks Willingness to learn and grow in an IT role within a manufacturing environment Why Join R&S Machining?
