Network Technician

We are looking for a hands-on Network Technician who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, onsite environment and is eager to learn and grow within a structured team. This is an entry-level role focused on physical network installations and support, ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys working with their hands and being out in the field. You will support Network Engineers by assisting with installations, equipment setup, and basic technical tasks across client environments.

This role is execution-focused, with clear direction provided by senior team members and strong opportunities for development over time.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with installation of network equipment, including access points, cabling, and related hardware Perform physical setup and mounting of devices using ladders, drills, and hand tools Run and organize cabling (Ethernet, patch panels, etc.) across client sites Support Network Engineers during onsite projects and deployments Follow detailed instructions and project plans to ensure accurate execution Maintain clean, organized, and professional workspaces at client locations Assist with basic troubleshooting and equipment checks as directed Travel locally to client sites as needed

Qualifications:

0-2 years of experience in IT, construction, electrical work, or similar hands-on environments Comfortable using basic tools (drills, ladders, hand tools) and working in physical environments Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely Reliable, punctual, and professional in client-facing settings Willingness to learn and grow within a technical career path Ability to lift equipment and work on ladders (8-10 ft) as needed Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally

Preferred Experience:

Exposure to basic networking concepts or IT environments Experience with cabling, low-voltage work, or hardware installations Trade school or relevant certification (not required) Interest in pursuing IT or networking certifications over time
