Job Description

DESKTOP IT TECHNICIAN KDM
Cincinnati
CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Responsible for performing operational support activities across the corporate network infrastructure, including the proficient use of software and hardware tools, internet technologies, system and hardware architecture, and the effective troubleshooting of software and hardware issues.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Diagnose, install, configure, and maintain network equipment, computers, and peripherals Ensure system functionality, security, backups, and optimal performance Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to end-users and manage user accounts/access Resolve hardware and software issues and provide timely feedback to stakeholders Identify and repair equipment faults, including minor hardware maintenance and component replacement Provide technical assistance during project implementation and rollouts. Ensure compliance with IT policies, data backup procedures, and best practice standards
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
Relevant tertiary qualification with at least 3 to 4 years' experience, equivalent to an Information Technology Technician with hardware and software support knowledge and experience to troubleshoot end-user functionality issues Strong knowledge of operating systems, including Windows 10/11, Mac OS, and Active Directory Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Sound understanding of networking concepts, including switches, wireless access points, and cabling Basic knowledge of SQL (advantageous) Valid driver's license with own vehicle or reliable access to transport
