Move Forward with HireGenics! Network Operations Center Technician We are seeking a Network Operations Center Technician to monitor network and infrastructure systems, respond to incidents, and provide escalation support to maintain uptime across critical systems in a 24x7 Network Operations Center (NOC) environment. Shift Schedule and Work Location Day shift: Onsite.

Pay Range:

$ 18.01 to $20.16 Night shift: May be remote. Current schedule rotates between three 12-hour shifts followed by four days off, and four 11-hour shifts the following week.

Day shift hours:

6:00 AM-6:00 PM or 6:00 AM-5:00 PM, depending on the rotation.

Night shift hours:

6:00 PM-6:00 AM or 7:00 PM-6:00 AM, depending on the rotation. Weekend coverage is required for either Saturday or Sunday, but not both. The long-term goal is to return to 10-hour shifts once staffing levels allow Key Responsibilities Monitor network, server, and infrastructure alerts. Identify, triage, and respond to incidents to minimize downtime. Perform first-level troubleshooting and escalate issues to engineering teams as needed. Maintain and update runbooks and monitoring documentation. Support change management and scheduled maintenance windows. Communicate incident status and updates to stakeholders. Manage conference bridges for Problem Management.

Qualifications Required:

Familiarity with monitoring tools. Basic understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, and switching.

Preferred:

CCNA or similar networking certification. Experience supporting energy or utilities environments. Experience with ServiceNow. Previous experience in a NOC or network operations environment.
