Key Responsibilities:
Help users and manufacturing (fab) with issues on desktops, laptops, mobile phones, and printers. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems. Set up new devices and configure them for users.
Device Management:
Install and update operating systems and applications. Maintain an inventory of all devices and perform regular checks.
Security:
Ensure devices are secure with antivirus software and necessary updates. Assist with encryptions and VPNs to protect company data.
Network:
Help users with basic network issues like Wi-Fi and LAN connectivity. Work with other teams for more advanced network problems.
Documentation:
Keep records of all support requests and solutions in the ticketing system. Create simple guides for common problems users face.
Collaboration:
Work with other IT teams and communicate with vendors when necessary.
Compliance:
Ensure workstations meet company IT and security policies. Keep systems properly licensed and updated.
Inventory Management:
Track and manage workstation hardware/software inventory.
System Monitoring:
Monitor workstation performance. Suggest and implement improvements.
