VVS Canteen is seeking a versatile, quality, technical minded IT Technician to work out of the Lincoln Nebraska office .

Responsibilities and Duties:

Be an advocate for our customers and their needs. Efficiently manage service calls related to Micro Markets, food service, and surveillance solutions. Conduct installations and configurations of new Micro Markets, food service, and surveillance solutions. Provide telephone support for trouble calls and assisting clients in resolving issues remotely. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records of components and consumables for Micro Markets, food service, and surveillance solutions. Collaborate with the Assistant IT Manager and other team members as needed to report on service activities, inventory status, and system performance. Travel to Micro Market, food service, and surveillance solution locations as needed for on-site troubleshooting, installations, and support tasks. Proactively identify opportunities for system improvements and contribute to the development of best practices. Track and document all service calls to ensure comprehensive record keeping and facilitate streamlined communication. On Call Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Excellent and confident communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. High standards for productivity and the ability to work in a fast paced environment and complete multiple tasks and demands. Effective organization and prioritization skills to complete assignments within established time frames. Flexibility in responding to urgent service requests and on-site visits. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Demonstrates the ability to continuously learn (new technologies, client business issues, and other job functions).

Requirements Customer service experience:

Two years preferred. Familiarity with Micro Markets systems and installation is preferred, but not required. Familiarity with food service implementations and video surveillance technology is preferred, but not required.

Desktop support skills:

Two years preferred. Desktop and server operating systems support: Two years preferred.

Software troubleshooting:

Two years preferred. Router/Switch/Wireless Access Point configuration and support: Two years preferred. Relevant certifications.
