In this role, you will be the frontline expert responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing our organization's computer networks and infrastructure. Your energetic approach will ensure seamless connectivity, robust security, and efficient operation of our IT systems. You'll work closely with various teams to deliver exceptional technical support, resolve hardware and software issues, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our network environment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about technology and eager to make a tangible impact on organizational performance. Duties Provide technical support for network hardware, software, and operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux environments. Manage computer networks by configuring LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewalls, and other security measures to ensure safe and reliable connectivity. Troubleshoot software issues related to operating systems, applications like Microsoft Office, Help Desk tools such as ServiceNow and Jira, and network devices. Maintain and monitor IT infrastructure components including routers, switches, servers, and BMC Remedy ticketing system for issue tracking and resolution. Assist with desktop support tasks such as installing, upgrading, and repairing computer hardware and peripherals to keep systems running smoothly. Support customer service initiatives by communicating clearly with users to resolve technical problems swiftly and effectively. Document network configurations, incident reports, and maintenance activities to ensure comprehensive records of all support activities. Requirements Proven experience in IT support roles with a focus on computer networking and hardware management. Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms. Familiarity with network security protocols such as VPNs, firewalls, and LAN configurations. Experience troubleshooting software issues using tools like Jira or ServiceNow; BMC Remedy experience is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA or equivalent are preferred but not required. Join us as a Network Technician where your expertise fuels our organization's success!
