$17.64 â€" $22.10 per hour, based on years of experienceWork Schedule:
260 days per year Job Objective Install, maintain, and repair computer network and telecommunications systems. Plan, design, and implement data connectivity solutions. Provide district-wide help desk and technical support services. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of two years of formal instruction or four years of relevant work experience in a computer-related field. Knowledge of technology applications and best practices within a Kâ€"12 educational environment. Experience with LAN/WAN connectivity and system installation. Programming or scripting experience preferred. Industry certifications such as Cisco Systems , CompTIA , or Microsoft networking credentials are advantageous. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and support current technology equipment. Commitment to high-performance standards, including engagement, proficiency, and resilience. Record free of criminal violations that would prohibit employment in a public school setting. Preferred Attributes Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Conscientious, dependable, and self-directed. Physical Demands Medium strength level â€" frequently lifting and carrying 11 to 25 pounds. Duties may require verbal communication; crouching; far and near visual acuity; fine and gross motor skills; reaching at, below, and above shoulder height; standing and walking; stooping; using ladders or work platforms; and operating hand and power tools. Essential Functions Maintain and upgrade technology hardware and support day-to-day network operations. Perform all assigned duties with attention to detail and a commitment to quality results. Maintain open and effective communication while serving as a reliable technical resource. Pursue professional development opportunities to strengthen job knowledge and technical proficiency.
