1+ Year Overview We're seeking a Hardware Technician to provide hands‑on IT support focused on hardware inventory, deployment, and Tier‑1 troubleshooting in a laboratory and business operations environment. This role centers on receiving, tracking, and distributing equipment while ensuring systems are operational and field‑ready. Responsibilities Receive, scan, asset‑tag, and inventory IT hardware and software Prepare and distribute equipment to multiple regional locations Maintain accurate asset and inventory records Provide Tier‑1 support for Windows‑based desktops, laptops, and peripherals Troubleshoot hardware, OS, and connectivity issues Support voice/data equipment, imaging systems, and specialized business hardware Document work and follow established IT support processes Qualifications 1+ year of experience in IT hardware support, field services, or desktop support Strong knowledge of computer hardware and Windows operating systems Experience with asset management and hardware deployment Hands‑on troubleshooting skills and attention to detail Ability to work on‑site in structured, operational environments Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Dallas, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
