My client is well established in both Texas and Louisiana and has grown to become a single point of contact for physical security and financial equipment for banks and credit unions. This also includes access control, CCTVs, alarms and traditional locksmith services. The Banking Equipment Technician is a professional position that installs, modifies, repairs, and maintains: drive up banking equipment including pneumatic drive ups, vaults, safety deposit boxes and other equipment.
Job duties include:
Installs equipment and services/supports existing customers by responding to service calls. Install, repair, rebuild, and service remote drive-up systems, audio, and video equipment. Installs, programs, tests, repairs, and services a variety of non-routine systems and equipment for drive-up, locksmith, and electronic projects including but are not limited to all manufacturer drive-up equipment (including remote drive-up), deal drawers, and audio and video equipment related to drive-up banking. Repairs or replaces damaged components of remote units. Troubleshoots, repairs, and replaces all components of remote, audio, and video equipment. May install, configure, and support a variety of network systems and equipment for assigned projects. Performs preventative maintenance as needed.
Education/Experience:
2 or more years experience installing and/or servicing drive up banking equipment, safes and vaults and troubleshooting that equipment High School Diploma or equivalent Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems preferred but not required. Climb ladders that extend up to 24 ft. in height Carry items up to 50 pounds Ability to work on-call on a rotational basis covering after hours & weekend emergency calls. A valid state driver's license, without restrictions, is required. My client offers an hourly pay rate in the $25-$32/hr range plus a company vehicle, comprehensive benefits and training plus additional perks. All prospective candidates will be required to be licensed and bonded and will need to pass a criminal background, driving record and credit check.
