From low-voltage cabling and audio/video systems to networking, security surveillance, racking & stacking, and complete IT buildouts , we are the trusted partner for practices across the U.S. We are expanding our Houston team and are seeking a skilled Network Field Technician (Hybrid) who can support both installation and configuration , while also troubleshooting a wide range of IT issues for our healthcare clients. Position Overview As a Network Field Technician, you will work in a hybrid role that includes both field installation and remote/on-site support . You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure, workstations, and healthcare-specific IT systems. This role requires strong technical ability, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication with both clients and internal teams. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points). Perform low-voltage cabling installations including cable pulls, terminations, patch panels, and testing. Deploy and support audio/video systems and security surveillance equipment. Rack, stack, and configure network and server hardware in healthcare environments. Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting for client issues such as: Internet outages Printer connectivity Software/application failures General workstation/server performance issues Ensure all systems are compliant with HIPAA and healthcare IT standards . Remove unauthorized or legacy remote access tools from previous vendors and implement Legend Networking's RMM solutions for monitoring and remote management. Document all work performed, including installation details, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions. Collaborate with project managers, senior engineers, and client stakeholders to deliver seamless technology deployments. Qualifications 4+ years of experience in IT field support, network installation, or a similar role. Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routing, switching). Experience with UDM routers, NAS devices, and endpoint security (e.g., ESET) preferred. Hands-on experience with low-voltage cabling and infrastructure installation . Ability to troubleshoot across a variety of systems: networking, workstations, printers, and business software applications. Familiarity with RMM tools, antivirus deployment, and backup solutions. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to diverse environments. Strong communication and customer service skills; ability to interact professionally with healthcare clients. Must be based in or willing to travel within the Houston, TX market . Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
