Job Description

Job Description We are seeking a Telecom Technician to support the refresh of legacy PBX systems (Siemens and Nortel) with Cisco VoIP infrastructure across multiple hospital campuses. This role involves hands-on deployment of new Cisco phones, ensuring connectivity, and performing functional testing and troubleshooting. This is phase 1 of the project. It will roll right into phase 2 which is the analog migration.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Replace legacy PBX phones (Siemens and Nortel) with Cisco VoIP phones at designated hospital sites.
  • Ensure proper connectivity and configuration of each device.
  • Conduct inbound and outbound call testing to verify functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any connectivity or performance issues.
  • Collaborate with existing team members to ensure smooth execution of the refresh project.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations and issues encountered.
