A strong background in technical support, customer service and understanding of client-server relationships, networking, and diverse hardware devices is required for satisfactory results in this position. Essential Functions of the Role Familiarity with remote monitoring and control tools used in audio-visual environments, including the ability to remotely monitor and manage classroom equipment when required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to effectively utilize approved remote support tools to diagnose and resolve end-user issues. Provides liaison support with Information Technology and Audio-Visual vendors and contractors, ensuring the support of managed services in assigned areas. Interfaces with users through training, education, tutorials, and problem resolution in a classroom environment. Coordinates and communicates effectively with others to complete assigned work. Performs troubleshooting of technical office equipment and peripherals, including telephony, printer configuration, scanners, and applicable hospital or research equipment. This role supports the classroom and the technology in it — not identity, access, or backend systems. Performs other duties as assigned or required. This role is 100% onsite support. Professional attitude, dress and customer service skills. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Two or more years of experience in an Information Technology position required.
