Field Technician The Field Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment or systems at customer locations. This role involves on-site visits to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and upgrades, often requiring technical knowledge and hands-on skills. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving abilities, strong customer service skills, and a solid understanding of the equipment or systems they work with

Key Responsibilities:

Installation, configuration, troubleshooting and customization of MS Office Suite applications per customer's preferences Configure file, print, and remote access services Administration, including add/remove users and groups, configure file permissions, check event logs, configure and restore from backup Backup Maintenance Ability to provide accurate time estimates for how long a task will take Ability to quickly learn new technologies using self-study materials and intuition

Key Qualifications:

Experience required with Windows desktop operating systems Understanding of TCP/IP and troubleshooting Internet connectivity Experience with routers and firewalls Experience with Terminal Services Understanding of relationship between switches, patch panels and connecting nodes to a network Understanding of DNS services Working Knowledge of Non-Cisco Firewall Technologies

• SonicWALL, Linksys, NetGear Working Knowledge of Wireless Technologies Education in Networking is great, but experience, passion and culture will win the day Net+ and Sec+ are required within the first 180 days of hire The pay range is $20-25/hr.
