View More Jobs Senior Product Owner MIS Norwell, MA, United States Apply Now Job Description The Senior Product Owner, MIS will serve as a strategic leader, driving the evolution of our Custom Aurora Platform to meet critical business needs. This role partners with stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to align product roadmaps with business priorities, ensuring successful outcomes through innovative solutions and agile practices. The Senior Product Owner is accountable for defining product vision, maintaining a prioritized backlog, and delivering high-value solutions that align with enterprise IT standards and processes. Responsibilities Strategic Product Ownership Define and own the product vision and roadmap for our Custom Aurora Platform, aligning it with enterprise goals and stakeholder priorities. Drive innovation and improvements, ensuring the platform evolves to meet current and future business needs. Lead high-level discussions with business leaders and executive leadership team members to understand challenges and propose forward-thinking solutions. Product Development and Delivery Author Epics, Features, and Stories with detailed acceptance criteria, addressing complex stakeholder requirements. Collaborate with architects and delivery leads to design scalable, enterprise-grade solutions. Partner with Scrum Masters to ensure backlogs are prioritized for maximum business value and aligned with sprint goals. Collaboration and Leadership Act as the primary liaison between business units and development teams, translating business needs into actionable technical requirements. Mentor and coach junior team members to foster professional growth and elevate team capabilities. Promote cross-functional collaboration, resolving roadblocks and ensuring alignment across teams. Agile Delivery Excellence Oversee the Agile Scrum delivery process, ensuring effective sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives. Conduct formal acceptance of user stories, ensuring they meet quality standards and business expectations. Drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business and technology teams to validate solutions. Platform Stewardship Monitor platform health, providing daily support of Aurora including integrations and administration. Identify and implement continuous process improvements to enhance platform functionality and team performance. Develop and analyze platform performance metrics to guide decision-making.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Experience:
3-5 years or more of Product Owner and Project Management experience. Basic proficiency in SQL is preferred.
Expertise:
Advanced knowledge of ITIL practices and Information Security standards.
Leadership:
Proven ability to mentor team members and lead cross-functional initiatives.
Agile Practices:
Deep experience in Agile Scrum frameworks, with strong ability to oversee and optimize delivery processes.
Technical Acumen:
Skilled in communicating technical solutions in business terms, with a focus on driving value.
Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proven ability to manage complex projects.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative abilities.
Experience:
