The Impact You Will Have Join Blue Cross and Blue Shield's Care Model Identification & Stratification (IDS) Product Team and play a key role in shaping how members are connected to the right care at the right time. As a Product Analyst, you will partner with business and technical teams to build and enhance the identification and stratification logic that drives care management outreach campaigns. You will gather and translate business requirements, support implementation efforts, and help ensure data-driven solutions are delivered accurately and efficiently. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to influence initiatives across Care Model and Behavioral Health product teams while helping remove critical operational bottlenecks and accelerate decision-making. We are seeking a curious, analytical professional with approximately three years of relevant experience and a strong data mindset. The ideal candidate can move beyond pulling data to uncover meaningful insights, connect findings to population health strategies, and recommend actionable opportunities to improve member outcomes. Success in this role requires critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and an understanding of identification and stratification methodologies, including how data informs care management triggers and member engagement strategies. You will work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts and Data & Analytics partners to organize requests, perform preliminary analyses, validate results, and identify the populations most likely to benefit from new programs and vendor solutions. What You'll Do Maintain and monitor daily Identification & Stratification (IDS) program operations, ensuring data loads, member cohorts, and outreach processes are accurate, timely, and performing as expected. Partner with Operations, Product, and Data & Analytics teams to troubleshoot issues, resolve data-related challenges, and support the successful delivery of care management initiatives. Conduct ad hoc analysis and member identification activities, applying inclusion/exclusion criteria, stratification rules, and business logic to support program development, outreach, and decision-making. Develop and validate member identification methodologies and clinical indicators, enabling Care Model and Behavioral Health teams to target appropriate populations while supporting efficient project execution and reducing barriers to delivery. How You'll Do It Responsible for gathering and interpreting data from various sources, identifying key insights, and providing actionable recommendations to drive product development and enhancement. Collaborate with team(s) and Stakeholder(s) to discover and deliver the best solution to the market problem(s) presented by the Product Manager or Product Owner (business). Working with a variety of internal and external partners to elicit and document business requirements for user stories. Help Product Owner and scrum team to plan work in upcoming sprints, considering a variety of factors such as priority, effort/cost, complexity, dependencies, and business and system impacts Help document the technology/business needs into product backlog stories/items. Attends sprint ceremonies and is available to team during the sprint for clarifications and acceptance of user stories. Aid where needed throughout sprints for the development team, such as answering questions on requirements and providing input on testing strategy. Maintain technical documentation of system and business processes. Build strong relationships with team members, business users, stakeholders, subject matter experts, vendors, to help navigate through problems, decisions, and related implications. Performs additional responsibilities consistent with the scope and level of the role, as assigned. Required Skills & Experience 3+ years of related project/program management professional experience. Bachelor's degree; in lieu of a degree, an additional two years of relevant experience beyond the qualifications listed above may be accepted. Preferred Skills & Experience Ability to tailor communication to varied audiences, actively listen to uncover requirements, and ensure accurate and timely information exchange. Ability to analyze information, identify patterns and root causes, and collaborate with partners to implement practical solutions. Ability to effectively organize work, balance competing priorities, and manage time across multiple responsibilities and deadlines. Ability to independently drive the progress of your own work Healthcare or managed care experience. Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions. Experience with agile planning tools such as Jira and/or Mural. Experience in data-driven decision-making. Experience with SAS and/or Databricks Experience in program management and process improvement with high level of execution focus. Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively cross-functionally, bridging gaps between technical and non-technical teams to achieve product goals. Pay Range:
$68,900.00- $91,300.00
