Job Description

Applied Visions is seeking an Associate Product Specialist to assist in developing andmaintaining a vision for the product and be responsible for communicating thevision to the team. The primary responsibility of this role is to author userstories with acceptance criteria that deliver an outstanding user experience.

The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of business and technicalknowledge that promotes critical and logical analysis that allows them to solvecomplex problems. TheAssociate Product Specialist will coordinate with our clients, projectengineers, quality assurance teams, development teams, and project managers toensure that business, quality and functional goals are met. This role isresponsible for the user facing design, usability, quality and delivery of aproduct or feature. The custom applications we develop help our customers grow theirbusiness, run smoothly and efficiently, and add top-line revenue. JobDuties and Responsibilities Gather and collectcustomer requirements; Organizecustomer requirements by priority (commonly known as epics) in the designatedtool; Writeuser stories with acceptance criteria that provides crucial details about theproduct's functionality to meet customer requirements; Anin-depth understanding of the customer requirements to become the advocate forthe customer as well as end-users; Coordinatewith the UX/UI team to help facilitate design efforts to meet customerexpectations; Communicatecustomer requirements to all team members; Organize,facilitate, and lead standard meetings within the agile process (sprintplanning, backlogs/estimations, grooming, retrospectives); Buildand maintain customer relationships. JobRequirements and Qualification Excellentcommunication skills and a strong desire to learn and collaborate; Abilityto function in a fast-paced, dynamic, and sometimes ambiguous environment; Strongwriting and organizational skills; Displaysa technical aptitude, critical/logical thinking, and leadership skills; Experienceworking with customers/clients; Experienceworking within a team environment.
Nice-to-haves:
Bachelor'sDegree in Computer Science, Business, Psychology, Design, or a related field; 2 years of experience working in the industry; Applicablemanagement experience; Abasic understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle; A basic understanding of the Agile methodology.
