The Payments Product Owner Manager will manage, mentor, and coach the Product Owner team in their pursuit of delivering quality increments of value to their customers. This is a remote position and candidates must live within approximately a 70-mile radius of our office locations in Allen, TX; Lenexa, KS; Springfield, MO; or Monett, MO; Louisville, KY. This position is ineligible for immigration sponsorship and support. What you'll be responsible for: Works daily with both Product Owners and Stakeholders to maximize their effectiveness in their respective Scrum roles. Collaborates with other managers to establish strategic plans and objectives. Participates in Scrum ceremonies including (but not limited to) reviews, refinements, and stakeholder meetings. Uses these ceremonies to identify Agile coaching opportunities across all teams. Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people. Participates in the prioritization of the organizational backlog with consideration to revenue, timing, team loading, security, and compliance. Supports our teams in delivering quality working software each sprint. Applies pressure wherever needed and provides support for continuous improvement. Lead by example by being an active stakeholder in all product delivery work and strategic objectives. Participates in planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to methods. Manages departmental structure, workforce planning, career development, training, planning, and budgeting. Performs onboarding, termination, objective setting, performance appraisals, coaching, and pay reviews. May perform other job duties as assigned. What you'll need to have: Bachelor's degree. Previous experience in a Product Owner role for a software development team that utilized Scrum principles, practices, and theory. Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development. Previous leadership experience. What would be nice for you to have: First level Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) required; advanced levels desirable. Certified Agile Leader (CAL) desirable. Pragmatic Certified Product Manager (PCPM) desirable. Excellent knowledge of Agile approaches including Scrum, Kanban, XP, and FDD. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products and services Proven experience with Agile techniques including User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, and Agile Games. Demonstrates a focus on quality, value, MVP, and the problem being solved. Leverages previous Product Owner experience to coach and mentor the Product Owner team. Demonstrates ability to deliver quality product enhancements, features, and projects. Able to meet aggressive deadlines and handle multiple complex projects. Excellent leadership, organizational, decision-making, communication, and analytical skills. Able to use independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload.
