Your Opportunity Help shape how millions of learners and professionals carry, share, and use verified learning and education records. As Lead Specialsit, Product Manager Pearson's working with our learning credential wallet product roadmap and our existing Credly Workforce product model, you'll lead delivery at the intersection of verifiable credentials, workforce mobility, and learner identity. You'll turn bold ideas into real, shipped experiences—working side-by-side with engineering and design—and help define what "credentialing in a wallet-first world" looks like.
Key Responsibilities:
Own end-to-end delivery of prioritized features across Pearson Wallet and Credly Workforce—keeping work tightly aligned to business goals and real learner outcomes Translate business needs into crisp, actionable requirements and documentation so teams can build with clarity and confidence Partner day-to-day with engineering, UX, and cross-functional stakeholders to unblock work, sharpen scope, and ship on a predictable cadence Coach and mentor teammates on product craft, process, and technical fluency—raising the bar for how we build Surface risks, dependencies, and gaps early—and drive them to resolution before they slow delivery

Value Proposition:
Clearly state value and deliver experiences customers choose Qualifications (Education & Experience): Proven product management experience, ideally shipping digital products at scale Strong track record delivering complex, cross-functional features and projects end-to-end Experience partnering closely with UX and engineering in a collaborative, iterative environment Comfort with agile methodologies and fast-paced delivery cycles Experience with digital wallets, verifiable credentials, or open credentialing standards (e.g., Open Badges, W3C Verifiable Credentials, CLR) is a plus—but not required; we'll help you ramp up quickly Location & Work Set Up This is a full-time and remote working role position with occasional travel in our Hoboken, New Jersey office Your Rewards & Benefits Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York State, New York City, Vermont, Washington State, and Washington DC laws, the pay range for this position is as follows: The minimum full-time salary range is between $160,000 to $180,000.
