Role Overview
We are seeking a Product Owner / Product Consultant to lead digital product initiatives across customer-facing and internal business applications. The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams, operations, and leadership to define product strategy, manage requirements, and drive successful delivery using Agile methodologies.
This role requires strong business consulting capabilities, stakeholder management, product ownership experience, and the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable product requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
Define and articulate product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
Align product priorities with business goals and organizational objectives.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and digital transformation.
Conduct market and competitive analysis to support product direction.
Requirements Management
Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
Create user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder interviews.
Prioritize product backlog based on business value, customer impact, and technical dependencies.
Agile Delivery
Own and manage product backlog.
Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release planning activities.
Partner with Scrum Masters, Architects, Developers, QA teams, and Business SMEs.
Ensure requirements are clearly understood by development teams.
Participate in sprint reviews and product demonstrations.
Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with business executives, operations leaders, product teams, and technology stakeholders.
Communicate roadmap status, risks, issues, and dependencies.
Drive decision-making among cross-functional teams.
Manage stakeholder expectations throughout project lifecycle.
Testing & Release Support
Support UAT planning and execution.
Validate solutions against business requirements.
Assist with production deployment planning and post-release monitoring.
Coordinate defect triage and resolution activities.
Analytics & Reporting
Define KPIs and success metrics.
Analyze product performance and customer feedback.
Make data-driven recommendations for enhancements.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience as Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Consultant, or Senior Business Analyst.
Strong experience with Agile and Scrum frameworks.

Process Flows
Business Requirements Documents
Functional Specifications
Experience with:
JIRA
Confluence
Azure DevOps
Miro or similar collaboration tools
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Strong stakeholder management experience with senior leadership.
Ability to work with distributed onshore/offshore delivery teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Automotive Finance experience.
Experience supporting Digital Transformation programs.
Familiarity with APIs, integrations, cloud technologies, and data platforms.
Experience working with AI/GenAI initiatives.
Knowledge of SAFe Agile framework.
CSPO, SAFe POPM, PMP, CBAP, or related certifications.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
Master's Degree preferred.
The pay range for this role is USD $100,000 - USD $120,000• per annum including any bonuses or variable pay. Tech Mahindra also offers benefits like medical, vision, dental, life, disability insurance and paid time off (including holidays, parental leave, and sick leave, as required by law). The pay range for this role is USD $55/hr to USD $65/hr.
