Overview We're looking for a Technical Product Owner to own the roadmap and continuous improvement of our in-house Information Management System (IMS). You'll serve as the connective tissue between business stakeholders and our offshore development team, translating complex requirements into scalable, high-quality solutions that directly support our mission of helping engineers get licensed. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and hands-on delivery experience

Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Requirements Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand problem statements, workflows, and requirements Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements Translate business needs into clear Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Technical Specifications Drive Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new modules/features and identify feasible, scalable technical implementation approaches Provide support for critical (P1) issues when required, ensuring quick analysis, coordination, and resolution Product Strategy & Process Optimization Proactively identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in existing business processes, and champion solutions that drive measurable improvement Design and champion strategic, scalable solutions that align with long-term business goals Prioritize initiatives based on impact, urgency, and feasibility Agile Delivery & Sprint Management Plan and manage development sprints in collaboration with offshore teams Equip development teams with clear, complete, and actionable requirements—eliminating ambiguity before the sprint starts Track progress and ensure timely delivery with high-quality standards Keep stakeholders informed with timely, transparent updates on sprint progress and delivery risks Cross-functional Collaboration Act as the primary liaison between business, development, and management teams Surface insights, plans, and risks clearly and proactively to stakeholders at all levels Facilitate alignment across teams to ensure successful product delivery UAT & Release Management Coordinate and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders Ensure timely approvals and smooth deployment of releases Maintain release timelines and ensure production readiness Support & Training Train and support business users on IMS functionality, fostering self-sufficiency and reducing support load over time Assist with troubleshooting and support for high-priority (P1) issues when required Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies Experience working with offshore development teams Proven ability to convert business requirements into technical specifications Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Experience with LMS, ERP, or enterprise internal systems Technical background (understanding of APIs, databases, system architecture) Experience with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar PMP, Scrum Product Owner, or similar certifications (Preferred)
