Technical Product Owner - Power BI & Azure Devops

We are seeking a Product Owner with a strong expertise in Power BI for a contract role situated in Houston, TX. In this highly interactive position, you will collaborate closely with business users and key stakeholders to lead requirement discussions, conduct demos, and oversee user acceptance testing. You will also create and maintain product roadmaps while managing backlogs for data and analytics initiatives, ensuring that solutions meet and exceed user expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead requirement discussions and user acceptance testing (UAT) to facilitate successful product delivery. Collaborate closely with business users to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and priorities for analytics initiatives. Create, maintain, and communicate comprehensive product roadmaps for data and analytics projects. Manage and prioritize the product backlog, aligning it with business goals and technical capabilities.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years'' experience as a Product Owner in BI/analytics, specifically with Power BI implementations. Proven experience in leading requirement discussions and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Hands-on familiarity with Azure DevOps for project management and delivery tracking. Solid understanding of business value metrics and how to measure them in BI projects.
