Job Description
Starting at $85,000.00 Annually We are currently seeking a Product Owner to support the growth of our business. The Information Technology department uses Agile and SCRUM as the foundation for both its teams and day-to-day operations. The Product Owner plays a significant role in this methodology because they have primary responsibility for customer collaboration and alignment with business objectives. Product Owners need to be excellent communicators and facilitators because they will be asked to work with all areas of the business and with other teams. Additionally, this role requires an aptitude for quickly understanding both business processes and technological systems, as well a strong conviction in Continuous Improvement. Job Summary The Product Owner reports to the Vice President of Information Technology. They will work with their VP and other stakeholders to establish a roadmap of IT products and features that support the strategic goals of the organization. This roadmap will be used to communicate a shared vision that will be delivered incrementally through Sprints. The Product Owner will work with a self-managed team of developers and business analysts to plan and complete their Sprint commitments. In addition, this role requires a great deal of interaction with stakeholders throughout the business. To collaborate among the many groups and individuals the person in this role must demonstrate a high degree of organization and professionalism. Due to the complexities of these systems, the Product Owner must have the ability to communicate technical information in a non-technical manner.
