Job Description

Job Description A client of Insight Global's is seeking an experienced Scrum Master / Agile Coach to help establish and scale Agile practices across the organization. This individual will serve as a transformation leader responsible for coaching teams, mentoring stakeholders, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and building the frameworks, tools, and standards necessary to create a sustainable Agile operating model. This is not a traditional Scrum Master position. The ideal candidate will have experience introducing Agile methodologies into organizations with low Agile maturity and helping teams successfully adopt Scrum principles, improve delivery predictability, and build long-term Agile capabilities. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Launch and pilot Scrum and Agile delivery practices across multiple teams Coach and mentor teams, leaders, and stakeholders on Agile principles and ways of working Develop Agile playbooks, templates, standards, governance processes, and operating frameworks Facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, reviews, backlog refinement sessions, and workshops Build Agile tools and processes that support long-term organizational success Lead Agile training sessions, lunch-and-learns, and educational workshops Assess team maturity and create development plans that drive measurable improvement Help teams become self-sufficient and high-performing within targeted timelines Identify organizational impediments and partner with leadership to remove barriers Drive continuous improvement initiatives across teams and programs We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent industry-recognized certification Experience implementing Scrum or Agile practices in organizations with low Agile maturity Proven experience coaching teams and stakeholders through organizational change Strong facilitation, training, and presentation skills Experience creating Agile frameworks, playbooks, standards, or governance models Ability to influence and drive change without direct authority Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Experience leading Agile transformation initiatives Advanced Agile certifications (PSM II, Advanced CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP, etc.) 2-4+ years of prior technical experience in software development, engineering, infrastructure, or enterprise technology environments Utility industry experience Experience establishing Agile Centers of Excellence or Communities of Practice Experience supporting PMO modernization initiatives Experience coaching multiple teams simultaneously What Success Looks Like Successfully introduces Agile practices and Scrum frameworks across the organization Coaches teams toward sustainable Agile maturity and self-sufficiency Establishes repeatable Agile standards, tools, and best practices Improves collaboration, transparency, delivery predictability, and team effectiveness Helps create a scalable Agile operating model that supports the future growth of TEP's PMO organization.
