The Scrum Master will facilitate and ensure the effective implementation of Agile practices, fostering a collaborative and productive environment for a federal client's operations. As a crucial member of our team, the Scrum Master will play a pivotal role in guiding teams through Agile methodologies, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions. Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Facilitate Agile Ceremonies:
Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective team collaboration and continuous improvement Work with
Cross-Functional Teams:
Facilitate collaboration and communication between development, operations, and business teams to ensure alignment on project goals and seamless integration of deliverables
Remove Impediments:
Identify and resolve obstacles that may hinder the team's progress, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
Coach and Mentor:
Provide guidance and support to team members on Agile best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement Collaborate with
Stakeholders:
Work closely with product owners, development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables
Monitor Progress:
Track and report on team performance metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability
Promote Agile Principles:
Advocate for Agile s and principles within the organization, driving adoption and adherence to Agile methodologies
Continuous Improvement:
Encourage and facilitate process improvements to enhance team efficiency and product quality
Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:
Active Secret clearance is required. Due to contract requirements, only US Citizens can be considered. 7+ years of experience supporting IT programs in an Agile environment, including serving as a Scrum Master and facilitating Agile delivery teams. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance for daily onsite work and on-call requirements. This contract supports systems that require 24x7x365 uptime. Candidates must be willing and able to meet recall requirements, including participation in a rotational on-call schedule.
