Job Description

Vice President, Scrum Leader BNY Mellon United States, Florida, Lake Mary Jul 15, 2026 We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Scrum Leader to join our Data Platform team. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Ensure Scrum principles and practices are followed, and Scrum team events occur, are productive, and kept within timeboxes.
Remove impediments identified by teams and track and resolve team dependencies.
Facilitate and guide teams to deliver expected outcomes with high quality and focus on creating increments of value for each iteration.
Work with Portfolio and Product leaders to manage the program backlog, guide the program, and foster a healthy team dynamic with respect to priorities and scope. To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
4-8 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Previous technical experience is preferred.
Experience in Scrum Master role for software development team for large initiatives.
Knowledge of various Agile approaches, including Scrum, SAFe, XP, Kanban, and Spotify.
Experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Ability to learn new technology quickly and translate ambiguous topics into actionable plans.
Excellent communication, mentoring, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
