The Scrum Master will help oversee scrum/kanban technology teams using Agile methodology best practices to ensure delivery success and good team morale. They also act as a buffer between the scrum/kanban team and line of business/project management and maintain a stable working environment for the team by helping the team overcome obstacles impeding their success. Performs other projects and duties as assigned.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

Lead the kanban/scrum team in using Agile methodology and kanban/scrum practices. Help the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction and deliver on key projects activities and systems/software/hardware maintenance duties. Lead the kanban/scrum and development teams in self-organization. Remove impediments and coach the kanban/scrum team on removing impediments. Help the kanban/scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework. Resolve conflicts and issues that occur. Help the kanban/scrum team achieve higher levels of kanban/scrum maturity. Support the product owner and provide education where needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

Prior experience on a leading technology teams via projects or direct reports. Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict. Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in scrum/kanban. Experience with successful Agile techniques. Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills. Ability to adapt to a changing environment. Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction.

Industry and Work Experience:

Minimum 3 years of technology delivery experience required. Prior management experience preferred.

Academic:

Bachelor's degree required. Scaled Agile certification preferred. Benefits Available to
