Job Description

Job Title:
Senior Scrum Master - MDSP Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Scrum Master to lead Agile processes across one or more Scrum teams supporting MDSP initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring successful delivery within scope, improving team performance, and maintaining high standards of Agile maturity, product quality, and delivery consistency. The Scrum Master will oversee day-to-day Agile team operations, remove impediments, support Product Owners, and ensure adherence to Agile best practices and organizational policies. Key Responsibilities Lead Scrum teams in adopting and implementing Agile methodologies and Scrum practices Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming Collaborate with Product Owners to manage and refine product backlogs and new requests Drive team self-organization and accountability Identify, remove, and coach teams on resolving impediments Address and resolve team conflicts and issues proactively Guide teams toward higher levels of Agile maturity and continuous improvement Identify gaps in Agile practices and implement improvements Provide regular updates to stakeholders on team progress and project status Support and educate Product Owners on Agile principles and practices Serve as the primary point of contact for external communications Deliver clear and concise documentation for Division management Assist with coordination and communication with external agencies and users, including troubleshooting and testing support Attend
MDSP ITD
meetings as required Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in Agile environments Preferred Qualifications Certified Scrum Master (CSM) through Scrum Alliance or Scrum.org SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) certification Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) Experience working in a Law Enforcement or Public Safety environment Familiarity with MDSP Delta Plus system
