Job Title Release Train Engineer (RTE) / Senior Scrum Master Job Type Contract (12 months with strong potential to extend and convert to full-time) Location Charlotte, NC (Preferred) - 300 S Brevard St Irving, TX (Secondary) - 401 Las Colinas Blvd W, Building A Teams are primarily based in these locations. Start Date ASAP (Backfill opportunity) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) or Senior Scrum Master to support a critical Balance Sheet product area within a large enterprise environment. This role provides agile leadership at the product-area level, supporting multiple Scrum teams (typically 3-4 or more), and plays a key role in ensuring predictable, efficient delivery. The ideal candidate will step in quickly, maintain delivery momentum, and partner closely with product, technology, and business stakeholders to drive alignment, remove impediments, and support agile scaling and transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Agile Delivery & Leadership Serve as the Release Train Engineer or Lead Scrum Master for a product area supporting multiple agile teams Facilitate and guide Scrum execution while operating at the product-area (L2 / partial L3) level Enable effective delivery planning, execution, and cross-team dependency management Identify, escalate, and remove systemic and cross-team impediments to improve flow Support capacity planning and resource adjustments as delivery needs evolve Scaling & Transformation Lead and influence agile scaling and transformation initiatives Apply deep expertise in Agile principles, Scrum, and scaling frameworks to improve delivery outcomes Support modernization efforts, including cloud migration to Azure Partner with product leadership to ensure teams understand customer needs and business outcomes Release & Change Management Coordinate and support enterprise-level release planning and execution Ensure disciplined release and change management practices, including Change Requests in ServiceNow Drive predictable, well-aligned releases across multiple teams Coaching & Communication Coach Scrum Masters, teams, and leaders to foster high-performing agile behaviors Communicate clearly and effectively with technical, product, and business stakeholders Promote transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement Confidently challenge and influence partners when needed to improve outcomes Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience working in Scrum or Agile environments, demonstrated through professional experience, consulting, training, education, or equivalent experience Proven experience as a Release Train Engineer, Lead Scrum Master, or Senior Scrum Master Experience supporting multiple agile teams simultaneously (minimum of 3 teams) Strong experience operating within a large, complex enterprise environment Solid understanding of agile delivery, scaling practices, and dependency management Preferred Qualifications Experience in financial services, particularly treasury or balance sheet-related domains Experience supporting cloud transformation or modernization initiatives Familiarity with or exposure to evolving AI delivery lifecycles Skills Strong knowledge of Agile values, principles, and Scrum practices Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to operate beyond tools to focus on outcomes, value delivery, and business context Proactive, delivery-focused mindset with strong coaching capabilities Tools & Technologies Jira ServiceNow (Change Management) Confluence SharePoint What Success Looks Like Predictable, efficient delivery across multiple agile teams Reduced cross-team dependencies and delivery impediments Strong alignment between technology, product, and business partners Disciplined, reliable release execution High-performing teams supported through effective coaching and agile leadership By providing your phone number, you consent to: (1) receive automated text messages and calls from the Judge Group, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively "Judge") to such phone number regarding job opportunities, your job application, and for other related purposes.
