Senior Scrum Master - Hybrid#26-06685 Wilmington, DE Iselin, NJ Onsite Contract Starts 6/15/2026 Ends 12/14/2026 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Scrum Master for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Wilmington, DE or Iselin, NJ. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. As a Senior Scrum Master, you will support technology teams deliveringplex, customer-impacting capabilities within a regulated environment. This role acts as a delivery leader, accountable for backlog health, s and releasemitments, dependency management, and adnce to software delivery and governance standards. You will drive delivery readiness, execution discipline, and release coordination to ensure teams consistently deliver high-quality oues with predictability and low risk.
Responsibilities:
Own delivery readiness and execution discipline by ensuring backlog items entering ss are fully prioritized, refined, dependency cleared, and technically viable Lead s, release, and near-term planning (30/60/90 day horizons) using capacity, historical performance, and risk signals to establish crediblemitments Facilitate Agile ceremonies (S Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, Retrospectives) with a focus on flow, predictability, and delivery oues Coordinate end-to-end release readiness and execution, ensuring testing, validation, approvals, and deployment activities are planned and visible Track and interpret delivery metrics (velocity stability, predictability, churn, cycle time) and use insights to proactively address delivery risk and performance gaps Actively manage risks, dependencies, and impediments, maintaining transparency and escalating issues early Ensure alignment with SDLC, risk, security, and governance requirements Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to align scope, sequencing, and priorities with delivery capacity and release timelines Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve flow efficiency Serve as a change agent and servant leader, fostering a culture of accountability, trust, and oue-driven execution across teams
Requirements:
5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead or Tech Program Manager 5+ years facilitating Agile delivery using Scrum and Kanban inplex, cross-functional environments 5+ years of hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence, including backlog management, dashboards, delivery metrics, and reporting 5+ years of experience supporting end-to-end delivery, including planning, execution, release coordination, and post-release validation Proven ability to manage delivery risk, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations in fast-paced environments Experience with Release, Incident, and Dependency Management Ability to create dashboards and write JQL/SQL queries in Jira and Confluence Excellentmunication skills Desired skills: Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) Experience owning delivery forecasts and release plans, not just facilitating team ceremonies Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and release management practices Experience in Banking or Financial Services Proven familiarity with regulated or risk-sensitive environments Ability to prompt AI to improve the efficiency of AI output Demonstrated strength in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making Pay range: $57.19 - $65.19 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
