Agile Scrum Master#26-04792 Jersey City, NJ Charlotte, NC On-site Contract Starts 6/01/2026 Ends 5/31/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a Scrum Master for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ or Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is for a talented and highly motivated Scrum Master responsible for one or more Scrum teams. The position involves coordinating and facilitating Scrum ceremonies, managing team dependencies, providing visibility into delivery plans, and enabling continuous improvement. This individual will also support delivery management and oversight for key projects.

Responsibilities:

Act as a servant leader to your teams and help resolve impediments Coach the team to achieve s goals and s timelines, driving adnce to the "Definition of Ready" and "Definition of Done" Schedule, facilitate, and coach agile routines and ceremonies including S planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, s retrospectives and PI planning In a Scaled Agile model, facilitate scaled planning for the team e.g., Pre-planning preparation, PI planning events and represent the team in Scrum of Scrums Enable the team to be high performing through collaboration and a relentless focus on continuous improvement including working with other scrum teams to define best practices Drive the agile team maturity based on established guidelines Provide delivery management for key deliverables

Requirements:

Business analyst experience helping to drive the understanding of business needs and analyze the best solutions Experience building close relationships with business partners Drive to understand the Treasury space and the application supported Prior Capital Markets experience in driving technology projects Capital Markets product knowledge in Fixed Ie or Derivatives Experience with Jira and SQL Desired skills: Scrum master, PMP, or CFA certification Experience with Quartz or other trading applications Python or SQL scripting experience Pay range: $68.38 - $76.38 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
