Scrum Leader
- 100% remote#26-03923 Rochester, MN Fully Remote Contract Starts 3/25/2026 Ends 2/15/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a Scrum Leader
- Remote for a 10+ month contract position with our client, a renowned healthcare organization, located in Rochester, MN.
Compensation:
$75.00- 80.
Summary:
Client is executing on a multi-year Cloud Services strategy that is a coordinated operational and delivery function within the broader Cloud Modernization and Hybrid multi-Cloud effort. It provides resources, teams, and processes that enable the Client's enterprise-wide transition to a hybrid multi‐cloud environment. The program is being run as Scaled Agile with an Agile Release Train and 6 cars. The Scrum Guide will interact with a Release Train Engineer, Product Owners and Managers.- Client Scrum Leader will work in the Center for Digital Health, with the purpose of extending our agile expertise and helping deliver digital solutions and products to consumers, patients, and providers to improve their health journey.
- The Scrum Leader facilities workflows in a scrum environment, ensuring that members of the team follow through on their respective duties and responsibilities.
- Guides and coaches the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.
- Gets team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.
- Collaborates with Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineering and Experience Design partners to ensure successful deliver
- Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team ads to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.
- Coaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge andmunicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team.
- Works with the Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support the product teams.
- Resolves team impediments with other Scrum Leaders to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.
- Works with Agile coaches and other Scrum Leaders to grow within the role.
- Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
- Facilitates and supports all scrum events: S Planning, Daily Scrum, S Review, and S Retrospective.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma. AND
- 4+ years relevant experience required.
- Expert at Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) running ss, creating burn down charts, coaching
- Expert at developing User Stories from high level Epics.
- Proficient within a scaled agile framework, SAFe
- Exemplifies and promotes Agile values and principles.
- Outstandingmunication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills.
- Strong, demonstrated knowledge of Scrum and understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques.
- Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams.
- Strong interpersonal, networking, collaboration skills and cultural awareness.
Preferred:
- Experience in a healthcare setting of hospitals and clinics
- Certified Scrum Master and/or SAFe Scrum Master certified
- Experience navigating transformation in highly regulated industries is a plus.
STRONGLY
preferred.- Direct some data science assignments, projects, visualization tasks, data quality improvements, and troubleshooting of data incidents, including the resolution of root causes.
- Lead efforts to resolve and document solutions to track and manage incidents, changes, problems, tasks, and demands.
- Coach and mentor other team members on new technologies and best practices across data science and business intelligence.
- Possesses advanced understanding of business' processes in at least one area of business and has an understanding of business processes in multiple areas of the business.
- Actively supports the advancement of the strategic roadmap for data science.
- Experience from manufacturing, automotive, industrial, or engineering industry is preferred, but is open to other industries like healthcare, retail, or biotech for example. Heavy financial industry experience should be avoided.
- Supply chain functions experience is important
- B.S. with 5 years of experience
- M.S. with 3 years of experience
- The team is not looking for director-level candidates or talent only looking for management roles. This is an individual contributor role. SKILLS
- Bachelors degree with five (5) or more years of experience in the field or in a related area.
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
- Masters or doctorate degree
- Expertise in Power Platforms
- Familiarity with LLM (open source or closed)
- Experience in Front end web app development (Flaskapp, Gradio etc)
