Job Requirements Colo Spgs, CO Top Secret/SCI Polygraph not specified Senior Level Career (10+ yrs experience) Salary not specified Join Premium to unlock estimated salaries Job Description Auxilium is searching for a Senior Scrum Master responsible to support United States Space Force (USSF) in the development software in support of Space Systems Command (SSC) Defensive Cyber Operations rapid agile development of defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to both ground and space based cyber adversarial threats. A successful candidate should be a leader and problem solver with a proven ability to deliver superior results as part of a high performing team in a fast-paced environment. Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to: This role focuses on coaching and guiding one or more Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-value products through effective application of Scrum and Agile principles. The Senior Scrum Master acts as a servant-leader to facilitate all Scrum events, remove organizational and team impediments, foster continuous improvement, and promote self-organizing, high-performing teams. Has an in-depth understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, and scaled approaches such as SAFe) and sufficient technical and process knowledge to implement them effectively in complex environments. Provides hands-on coaching and guidance to Scrum teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders while aligning delivery with system requirements, working in concert with development teams, and supporting modern practices including cloud computing and DevSecOps. This position may require privileged access and DoD 8570/8140 restrictions will apply where applicable.
Education/Certification Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in Agile project delivery, with at least 4-5 years as a Scrum Master leading teams in software or systems development environments.
  • Certs preferred (at least one of the following):
CSM / A-CSM / PSM
I or
II / CSP-SM
/ SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) / SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM) / PMI-ACP
  • DoD 8570/8140 compliant certification (e.
g., Security+ or higher) is a plus when supporting DoD or federal programs.
Desired skills/experience:
  • Proven experience facilitating all Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives) for multiple or complex teams.
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and servant-leadership skills, including the ability to mentor junior Scrum Masters and drive organizational Agile maturity.
  • Expertise in removing impediments, managing dependencies, and fostering collaboration across Product Owners, developers, stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile metrics (velocity, burndown/burnup charts, cycle time, etc.), continuous improvement practices, and tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or similar.
  • Knowledge of scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe) and experience supporting Agile transformation efforts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in cross-functional and matrixed team environments.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycles, DevOps/DevSecOps practices, and cloud environments.
  • Prior experience supporting federal, DoD, or intelligence community programs is highly desirable.
  • Experience applying Agile in regulated or secure environments and aligning delivery with compliance or security requirements.
Clearance:
Must possess a Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
Location/Travel Requirements:
Place of work is Colorado Springs; remote work opportunity is limited. You may be required to travel periodically, less than 10%.
