Scrum Master/Agile Delivery Analyst - Hybrid#26-05007 New York, NY 30% Remote Contract Starts 5/18/2026 Ends 12/31/2026 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a Scrum Master/Agile Delivery Analyst for a 6-month contract (with potential to extend) with a Major Financial Services Firm located in New York, NY. This is a hybrid role with 3 days onsite.
Pay range:
$47-55/hr W2. The Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Analyst will support a major financial services organization undergoing an evolving agile transformation initiative. This role will focus on implementing and supporting a lightweight agile framework designed to improve visibility, tracking, and reporting of operational and project-based work across business-focused teams. This position differs from a traditional software development Scrum Master role, as the primary stakeholders are business users engaged in BAU, Operational and Finance-related activities. The objective is to establish practical and sustainable processes within Jira that enable leadership to better capture work activity, resource allocation, and reporting metrics across both funded initiatives and BAU support functions. The environment is highly dynamic and transitional, requiring a candidate who is adaptable, collaborative, and capable of tailoring agile methodologies to meet evolving organizational needs. Responsibilities Support the implementation and maturation of a lightweight agile delivery framework across business and operational teams Assist stakeholders in capturing, organizing, and tracking work activities within Jira to support monthly reporting and operational visibility Guide users who are new to agile methodologies and Jira tooling, including foundational concepts such as epics, stories, workflows, and work categorization Partner with leadership to develop reporting structures that align business work tracking with broader engineering and delivery metrics teams distinguish and track funded project work versus BAU/support activities for reporting and governance purposes Configure and maintain Jira boards, workflows, custom fields, labels, and dashboards to support evolving business requirements Provide rmendations regarding process improvements and pragmatic agile adoption strategies appropriate for non-traditional agile environments Support teams operating within hybrid delivery models w work may not follow standard s-based development practices Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by promoting process consistency, operational transparency, and reporting accuracy Facilitate standups and Scrum-related meetings as needed to support team continuity and delivery oversight Maintain a flexible and collaborative approach within an evolving organizational structure and delivery model Required Qualifications Experience serving as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, Agile Project Manager, or similar role within enterprise environments Strong working knowledge of Jira, including: Epic and story hierarchy Boards and workflows Work categorization and tracking Reporting and dashboard configuration Experience supporting users with limited exposure to agile methodologies and Jira tooling Ability to adapt Scrum and agile principles to operational, business, or hybrid delivery environments Experience supporting work tracking for both project-based initiatives and BAU operational activities Strongmunication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills Ability to operate effectively within evolving processes and organizational structures Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting finance, operations, or other business-focused teams outside of traditional software engineering organizations Familiarity with lightweight or hybrid agile delivery models Experience developing operational reporting frameworks and work visibility metrics Prior experience within financial services or similarly regulated enterprise environments Additional Information This initiative is in the early stages of implementation and processes will continue to evolve The ideal candidate will befortable operating within ambiguity while helping establish scalable and practical delivery practices Jira proficiency is important; however, this role is focused more on workflow enablement and reporting structure than deep technical administration The position requires a consultative and adaptable approach, with an emphasis on collaboration, user guidance, and process refinement Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
