Scrum Master/Project Manager - Hybrid#26-09224 Warren, NJ Hybrid Contract Starts 9/14/2026 Ends 9/17/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a Scrum Master/Project Manager - Hybrid position with a Major Insurance Company located in Warren, NJ. This is a 6 month contract opportunity with the potential to extend. This role is for a Scrum Master/Project Manager with SAFe experience to lead data engineering teams. The position requires a hybrid work arrangement with 3 days onsite per week.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and collaborate with multiple stakeholders Ability to thrive in a PM/Scrum Master hybrid role Manage the backlog and ensure it is properly prioritized, sized and track work progress Manage small to large scale project through ss/iterations and assist the BSA/Product Owner in breaking down the project into stories Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (backlog grooming, planning meetings, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, demos) and drive storiespletion Determine and remove all obstacles that may interfere with the teams' ability to deliver assigned goals Ensure that the stories are delivered with high quality and on time and will also be responsible for release planning and product delivery Identify, track, and mitigate risks and dependencies; present and manage changes to project structure, scope and delivery timeframes Ensure the overall success of the project by being accountable for all aspects of the project and lifecycle providing overall project transparency Ability to work with a diverse team with both technical and non-technical backgrounds

Requirements:

Work experience in Scaled Agile (SAFe) 5 years' experience as a Scrum Master Experience managingbination of offshore and onshore teams Experience with JIRA is required Demonstrated team leadership and project management expertise Prior experience with managing project budgets and stakeholder status reporting Excellent written and verbalmunication skills Ability to build and maintain business relationships employees, business partners and vendors Comfortable hosting meetings to various audiences, (engineers, management, or C level positions) Comfortable voicing suggestions on project direction and approach Self-starter that requires little direction Excellent organizational skills: ability to prioritize multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Desired skills: Experience in the insurance industry is a plus Pay range: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
