The RTE is responsible for orchestrating the planning, execution, and delivery of full Program Increments (PIs) across multiple cross‑functional Agile teams and contracts, ensuring alignment with business objectives, high‑quality outcomes, and continuous improvement. Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met. Lead PI Planning events and other ART ceremonies. Prepare and maintain backlog readiness in partnership with Product Management and System Architects. Facilitate synchronization across teams (Scrum‑of‑Scrums, PO Sync, ART Sync). Basic Qualifications 15+ years of experience in Agile delivery, with at least 10 years in a Scrum Master, RTE or leadership role. Demonstrated success leading multiple Agile teams (8‑12+ teams) in a SAFe environment. Expertise with Agile tools and code configuration repositories. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices as well as refinement for optimization. Servant‑leadership and strong facilitation skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities. Systems thinking and ability to manage complex dependencies. Analytical mindset with data‑driven decision making. Desired Skills Strong problem‑solving skills and resilience under pressure. Ability to influence without authority and build consensus across diverse groups. Experience in regulated industries (defense, aerospace, aerospace, etc.) is advantageous. Experienced in F-35 Fusion capapbilities and development. Expereicned with Embedded Real-Time software development.
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range:

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
