Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Scrum Master for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is responsible for optimizing the flow of stories and the value delivered by one or more Scrum teams, and is focused on serving the needs of the team to drive performance and growth. The Scrum Master coordinates and facilitates Scrum ceremonies, manages dependencies, provides visibility into team delivery plans, and enables continuous improvement. This role ensures impediments are resolved quickly, the team follows agreed-to processes, and promotes the Agile mindset to empower the team to be self-managing.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate dependency and risk management for the Scrum teams and the ART

Facilitate team and cross-team impediment removal for the team

Promote and facilitatemunication and collaboration within the Agile teams and across the ART to support value delivery and Smitments

Provide visibility into the Agile teams' delivery plans and Release plans on the program level and to stakeholders

Ensure the team has a healthy product and S backlog in collaboration with the Product Owner

Measure team delivery, maturity, and performance and review the metrics with the team to identify improvement opportunities

Create JIRA queries and dashboards using JQL to assist and enable the team

Requirements:

Experience as an Agile Scrum Master

Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira

Desired skills:

SAFe Scrum Master Certification

Ability to enable a team to be high performing through collaboration and a relentless focus on continuous improvement

Experience collaborating across the ART to create program level transparency, visibility, and drivemitment

Experience with Senior Scrum Master responsibilities to drive ART ceremonies, host PI Planning preparation and execution, and support the creation of a Program Backlog

Ability to assist with other responsibilities that help ensure the success of the overall ART

Experience working in a SAFe environment, including PI Planning events

Pay range: $63.94 - $71.94 per hour
