This role is pivotal in driving project success through effective leadership, agile practices, and meticulous management of project lifecycles. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management methodologies, including Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, and SDLC, while demonstrating exceptional communication and organizational skills. Duties Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise software projects using Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and traditional Waterfall methodologies. Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming sessions to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with project goals. Manage project scope, schedule, resources, risks, and dependencies using project management tools such as Jira, VersionOne, Microsoft Project, and SharePoint. Coordinate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define clear user stories and acceptance criteria; develop detailed test cases for user acceptance testing (UAT). Oversee project documentation including Visio diagrams, SDLC artifacts, release plans, and disaster recovery procedures to ensure compliance with IT governance standards. Monitor project progress through metrics like burn-down charts and velocity; communicate status updates effectively to senior leadership and stakeholders. Support program management activities by aligning multiple projects with organizational objectives; facilitate release management and IT infrastructure integration. Requirements Proven experience managing enterprise software projects within an Agile environment; familiarity with SAFe frameworks is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies including PMBOK standards and Waterfall processes; experience with SDLC phases from requirements to deployment. Hands-on expertise with project management software such as Jira, VersionOne, Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel). Technical proficiency in cloud computing platforms like AWS; understanding of IT infrastructure components including databases (SQL, Oracle), user acceptance testing (UAT), and software development lifecycle practices. Excellent analysis skills for requirements gathering; ability to develop comprehensive test plans and manage test-driven development processes. Demonstrated leadership capabilities in program management; adept at negotiation, stakeholder communication, risk mitigation strategies, and organizational skills. Familiarity with IT governance frameworks including disaster recovery planning and IT security standards; experience supporting project implementation in complex environments. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
