Role:

We are seeking a skilled Scrum Master / Project-Portfolio Manager to oversee a large portfolio of projects, manage budgets, and produce executive-level reporting. This role requires proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with a strong preference for candidates with an infrastructure background. Due to the current cost-focused environment, we are seeking candidates who are competitively priced and immediately available.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee a large portfolio of projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery. Serve as Scrum Master for Agile teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies and promoting Agile best practices. Lead traditional project management activities for teams working in Waterfall methodology. Develop executive-level reporting and dashboards, providing insights on project progress, budget, and performance metrics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and technical resources to ensure alignment on goals and project milestones. Use tools like JIRA, Confluence, and MS-Project to track project status, risks, and issues. Build and maintain portfolio dashboards and reports in Tableau for executive visibility. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring transparency and alignment on project status and priorities.

Required Skills and Experience:

IT Experience:

Minimum of 7 years in IT, with at least 3 years as a Scrum Master. 2.

Technical Project Delivery:

At least 3 years of experience delivering complex technical projects. 3.

Project Management:

Solid experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. 4.

Technical Proficiency:

Strong understanding of technical platforms and systems, with expertise in: o JIRA o Confluence o Visio o Advanced MS Excel o MS-Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint) o SharePoint o MS-Project 5.

Reporting Skills:

Ability to build and manage executive-level dashboards and reports, especially in Tableau. 6.

Interpersonal Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication, leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. 7.

Frameworks:

Experience working within Kanban frameworks. 8.

Portfolio Management:

Experience managing a portfolio of projects with an understanding of cost and resource optimization.

Certifications:

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Project Management Professional (PMP)
