Staff Engineers Casa Grande, AZ, United States req71567 Posted on: 5/5/2026 Kohler Co. seeks Staff Engineers for its Casa Grande, Arizona location. Responsible for overseeing and optimizing the manufacturing processes of Vikrell products, with a focus on efficiency and quality. Identify and solve problems in production processes, reduce waste, increase productivity in the process and with people, improve product quality following the Lean Manufacturing basics, ensuring adherence to strict safety for KOHLER Vikrell. Analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and implement Lean manufacturing tools and techniques to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Utilize SAP for data analysis, process management, and reporting to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives. Lead problem-solving efforts utilizing root cause analysis methodologies to address production issues and implement sustainable solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement best practices in process design, production planning, and inventory management. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track improvements and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Conduct time and motion studies to establish benchmarks and optimize workflow. Facilitate training sessions and workshops on Lean principles, problem-solving techniques, and continuous improvement methodologies for team members and stakeholders. Support the introduction of new products by analyzing manufacturing feasibility and developing efficient production processes. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress on projects to management. Deploy the quality standards on the shop floor. Responsible for working on the design of material flow, layout process design of production lines, Automated Guided Vehicle flow layout, improving efficiency and increasing flow, through optimizing Supply Chain and manufacturing process operations related to direct labor headcount, layout, and equipment, increasing throughput, and utilizing automation through continuous improvement activities. Equipment and process optimization and ensure that manufacturing processes comply with relevant regulatory requirements. Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for Vikrell products using World Class Manufacturing principles, while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Conduct process and equipment activities to ensure that manufacturing processes are reproducible, consistent, and meet regulatory requirements. Design and implement manufacturing layouts, equipment specifications, and automation solutions to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. Identify and analyze process performance metrics including yield, throughput, cycle time, and cost to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Work with Manufacturing, Packaging, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to resolve open issues that impact Manufacturing and Packaging activities. Continuously monitor and analyze industry trends, regulatory updates, and technological advancements to ensure that manufacturing processes remain up-to-date and competitive. Lead and manage process improvement projects to drive continuous improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement. Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure that potential risks to product quality, safety, and efficacy are identified and addressed appropriately. $145,142-$160,000/yr. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in an Engineer-related occupation.
