Job Description:
Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) 2+ years of relevant software engineering experience Hands-on experience developing software using one or more of the following: C++ C# Java, Python, or Visual Basic Microsoft Visual Studio Windows Operating System Debugging and troubleshooting complex software issues Ability to work onsite in a secure, production-focused environment Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance Nice to Have Skills & Experience Understanding of computer architecture and hardware performance optimization Experience developing software drivers for hardware interfaces Knowledge of network and data protocols (TCP/IP, UDP) Familiarity with UML for software design and architecture Experience working in Agile or Waterfall development environments Knowledge of Software Configuration Management principles Strong written and verbal communication skills Job Description This role supports the development, testing, and production of advanced defense systems by building and maintaining Windows-based software applications used in factory and lab environments. You'll work closely with hardware, systems, and manufacturing engineers to ensure test equipment software is reliable, scalable, and production-ready. This is a hands-on, onsite engineering role focused on real-world hardware and mission-critical systems.
Compensation:
$40/hr to $80/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.
