Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a top healthcare technology organization driving innovation across the revenue cycle. This individual will play a critical role in architecting and building scalable backend systems that support automation and AI-enabled solutions. The engineer will collaborate closely with product, architecture, and engineering leadership, influence technical standards, and mentor other developers while delivering high-quality, production-ready services. This role sits within a fast-moving, R D-focused environment designed to operate with startup speed while solving complex, real-world healthcare challenges. Must-Haves 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong backend focus Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET Core Experience designing, deploying, and supporting production backend services and APIs Experience working in Azure cloud environments Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines , automated testing, and quality gates Strong understanding of availability, observability, performance, and maintainability Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical field Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and architecture teams Plusses Advanced degree in a technical field Experience building reusable frameworks, libraries, or internal platforms Exposure to AI-enabled development tools (e.g., Copilot, code generation, embeddings, vector search) Experience influencing engineering standards and best practices across teams Healthcare, revenue cycle, or regulated industry experience Day to Day Design, develop, test, deploy, and monitor backend services and APIs Architect scalable, resilient, and reusable software components used across multiple teams Collaborate with product and design to translate business needs into technical solutions Participate in and lead technical design sessions, architecture reviews, and spike investigations Mentor engineers through code reviews and hands-on technical leadership Partner with architecture and engineering leadership to define and advocate best practices
