If you're a strong software engineer and are passionate about building awesome Bluetooth solutions, we may have the job for you. The Core Bluetooth team is looking for a motivated software engineer to design, implement, and maintain next generation personal connectivity solutions. You are responsible for crafting and developing world changing wireless protocols such as exposure notifications on the very latest Apple products. Description You will be challenged with unique problems: building and developing software solutions to enrich the Apple ecosystem for current and next generation products. Minimum Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience. Strong C++, C, or Objective-C software skills Preferred Qualifications Wireless communications system experience is a plus (especially Bluetooth!) Experience in building user level applications, public frameworks, audio, or AR/VR solutions is a plus Ability to write clean, maintainable code in an OS/RTOS environment Thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while authoritatively driving multiple projects across many teams Obsessively passionate and inquisitive, and seek to pursue everyday problems in innovative ways Laser-focused on the smallest details that are meaningful to our customers Proficiency in using AI-based software development tools Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $129,300 and $194,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
