This role is responsible for developing and driving a consolidated multi-year roadmap of audio experiences on Pixel devices, built on Pixel's Ambient Compute platform, Android, and ecosystem devices. You will synthesize deep Ambient Compute system knowledge, Pixel power and latency constraints, and ecosystem device understanding to deliver features across software stacks from embedded to APK. You will initiate, own, and implement strategies driving quality into the Pixel audio stack, leading roadmap delivery alongside senior leadership, product management, and audio research teams while designing scalable architectural improvements. The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

- Responsibilities
- + Collaborates with senior leadership, product management and research teams to define the roadmap of audio features for Pixel devices.
+ Implements experiences and features working with codebases throughout the stack from embedded to high level OS application.
+ Leads multi-year engineering efforts across sub-component teams while owning the strategy, architectural improvements, and program methodologies required to deliver audio quality on Pixel devices.
+ Designs solution architectures that enable solutions to fit within extremely constrained compute environments, respecting power, performance, latency and user experience tradeoffs.
+ Holds teams and the organization accountable for Pixel Audio quality, ensuring polish and perfecting product to create delightful audio experiences for users.
